Sex Dolls in Space!
"What's lonelier than being in space or on Mars" asks aerospace engineer Amit Stevenson to SpaceX founder Elon Musk, addressing the ongoing mission of said company to colonize Mars.
Aerospace engineer turned sex doll retailer Amit Stevenson has offered to provide SpaceX astronauts with sex dolls on the Mars mission.
"The purpose of wanting to send companion dolls to space is not sex – most of our customers use love dolls to feel accompanied in lonely situations." told to the British paper Express.
"This is not about cheapening the profession of astronauts or space exploration in general," he continued.
A one-way trip to Mars can take between six and eight months, which is comparable to some of the missions astronauts undertake aboard the International Space Station (ISS).
It is a long time to spend away from your loved ones.
In 2018, Dr Nick Kanas of the University of California, San Francisco, said: "Mars is a long way away and the extreme distance has psychological ramifications."
Towards this goal, his company is developing the Starship spacecraft, which will ferry our fellow humans to the Moon, Mars and hopefully beyond.
Mr Stevenson believes some of the anxiety and psychological stress of these missions can be alleviated with the aid of sex dolls.
